Weekly Commissioner Routine

Before the advance

1. Confirm all completed games have synced to EA.
2. Import the current week’s statistics.
3. Verify scores, simulated status, and player/team box scores.
4. Resolve Game of the Week and pick’em activity as your league requires.
5. Update or close Discord game channels/threads for completed matchups.
6. Import team rosters and free agents before advancing. This preserves the weekly baseline required to detect next week’s Discord transaction alerts, even if no visible roster changes occurred.

Immediately after advancing

1. Export or direct-import League Info.
2. Confirm the league header shows the new stage and week.
3. Import Schedules.
4. Open Games → Schedule and verify the new matchups.
5. Set or update the next Advance Time under Administration → Settings.
6. Confirm any automatic advance notification reached Discord.

Prepare the new week

1. Review member-to-team assignments.
2. Select or verify Game of the Week.
3. Unlock or lock pick’em under Administration → Game Settings as desired.
4. Create Discord game channels or threads for the new week.
5. Confirm private spaces include both assigned members.
6. Post or verify the schedule notification.

During the week

• Import stats after games sync.
• Import affected rosters after transactions or player changes.
• Review transaction and injury notifications.
• Check development-limit alerts if limits are configured.
• Review pending trades and join requests.
• Update news, rankings, awards, and recruitment information as needed.

After each import

Verify one source page and one downstream page. Examples:

• Roster import: Team Roster and Transactions.
• Schedule import: Games and a team Schedule.
• Stats import: Game box score and a season Stats page.
• League Info: header week and standings context.

Offseason routine

The league home can show an offseason dashboard based on current stage and imported data. During offseason:

1. Continue importing League Info after stage changes.
2. Import rosters after re-signing, free agency, trades, and the draft.
3. Import draft/roster data after selections exist.
4. Review upcoming free agents, cap information, and contract pages.
5. Set Trade Reset Timing correctly for the next season.
6. Do not perform a full league reset unless moving to a different franchise.

End-of-season review

Before the franchise rolls forward:

• Confirm final standings and playoff results.
• Confirm yearly and MVP awards.
• Export CSV data if you need an external archive.
• Verify records and draft context.
• Record any commissioner-created news or custom awards you want to preserve.

Fast recovery checklist

When something looks wrong:

1. Stop starting new imports.
2. Confirm service, season, stage, and week.
3. Identify the owning data set.
4. Check Import Center.
5. Re-import only that data.
6. Verify before escalating to All Stats or a reset.
